VOIP is an acronym for Voice Over Internet Protocol, or in more common terms phone service over the Internet. If youVOIP handsets have a reasonable quality Internet connection you can get your phone service delivered through your Internet connection instead of from your local phone line. Your phone billing then becomes an inclusive part of your internet package, so no need to worry about unexpected high phone bills at the end of the month.

To be able to use VIOP, HBT can supply the appropriate equipment to convert your ‘normal’ phones to VOIP enabled. Some phone systems have the technology built in, otherwise it’s a case of HBT installing a ‘box’ into your system.

The Government’s is currently running a Super Connected Project, which demonstrates its commitment to upgrading internet connections, giving businesses the opportunity to switch to VOIP and save money. Businesses who have switched to VOIP are reluctant to publicise how much they have saved, but industry experts estimate that a typical business can save between 50 – 75% of their phone costs when they move to VOIP.

Let HBT help you realise your potential savings from VOIP. At our free initial consultation we will be able to give you an estimate of potential savings from VOIP based on your current phone usage.

Get in touch today and find out much VOIP can save your businesses.
