Have you lost Windows Support?

Since the launch of Windows 10 in July 2015, there have been an incredible 67 million downloads worldwide. The benefits of downloading the latest release from Microsoft is that; it is very easy to update, it provides the latest security measures and it integrates the use of apps, making it far easier and more efficient to use.

Although there have been a significant number of downloads, many people are still using Windows 8, Windows 7 and even Windows XP & Vista. It is vital to upgrade to remain secure and to keep your device in good working order. This is because, over time, Microsoft will stop offering support for older versions of Windows – some of which have already ended…

Who’s at risk?

Microsoft offers different levels of support depending on which version of Windows you are using, this is referred to as Mainstream support. Once mainstream support had finished, you will no longer receive the latest security updates, therefore your device may be at risk.

If you are unsure as to whether you should download the latest version by Microsoft, see when your version was last supported or whether it still is.

If you have a different version of Microsoft Windows, you can find out when you will lose mainstream support by Clicking Here and typing in your version of Windows.
